Honda opens fourth auto dealership in southern metro

Honda Vietnam has opened its fourth auto dealership in Vietnam, following the first three a month ago in the northern Hanoi and the southern Ho Chi Minh City.

Honda Auto Kim Thanh located at 6 Hai Ba Trung street in HCMC’s District 1 was launched late last week after six-months of construction, all in an effort to drive sales of the automaker’s new Civic sedan.

The new auto agent has placed staffs and technicians trained by experts from Honda Vietnam and the Japan-based Honda Motor.

The operation of Honda Auto Kim Thanh will provide clients faster and more convenient sales and after-sales service with mounting numbers of Civic orders.

In the two weeks since the automaker introduce its first new generation Civic, the company’s auto agents have delivered more than 100 Civic units to local buyers.

A 1.8 liter Honda Civic costs $31,000, while a 2.0 liter engine goes for $37,800 - still far beyond the reach of many Vietnamese residents.

Three Honda Vietnam auto dealers included Honda Auto Tay Ho and Honda Auto Giai Phong in Hanoi and Honda Auto Cong Hoa in HCMC.
